How to setup Windows Vista PDF Print E-mail
Turn on and connect your analog modem to the computer.
Click on the Start menu, then on Control Panel
 
   
Click on the Hardware and Sound category.
 
   
Click on Phone and Modem Options.
 
   
If a window entitled Local Information appears, select an area code (0, for example) and click on OK.
 
   
Click on the Modems tab, then on Add...
 
   
If a UAC (User Account Control) warning window appears, click on Continue.
Click on Next.
 
   
Wait while Windows tries to detect the modem.
 
   
When the modem installation is finished, click on Finish.
 
   
The installed modem must appear.
Click on OK to close the Phone and Modem Options window.
 
  Your modem is properly installed; you must now create a Dialup connection to browse the Internet.
 
 
  Connecting to Internet using Windows Vista

To configure a dial-up connection in Windows Vista:

 
1. Click Start
2. Click Connect To
3. In the bottom left of the window that pops up, choose Setup a connection or network.
4. Select Setup a dial-up connection and click Next.
5. Enter in the following information:
°
Phone Number : 086 000 7249
°
Username : @lantic Internet Username
°
Password : @lantic Internet password
°
Dial-up Connection Name : @lantic Internet

Click Create .

To Use:
°
Outgoing mail server for domain clients: mail.domainname.co.za
°
Click on Start
°
Click on Connect To
°
Select the connection and hit Connect
 

You are now connected to the Internet.
