Click on the Start button
Click on Settings OR Control Panel (if Settings thereafter, Control Panel)
Click on Network Connections
On the left hand side look for and click on the Create a New Connection button
A new window will open with “Welcome to the New Connection Wizard” Click Next
Select the first option “ Connect to the Internet” and click Next
Select the second option “Set up my connection manually” and click Next
Select the first option “Connect using a dial-up modem” and click Next
In the “ISP Name” field type in “Xsinet Dialup” and click Next
Insert the phone number “0860007249” and click Next
The next screen does NOT always appear, if it does, just select “Anyone’s Use” and click Next
In the “Username” insert your username (e.g. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it @is.co.za). Remember to add both the “@” signs.
In the “Password” and “Confirm Password” field, enter your password. Keep the boxes below ticked and click Next.
Tick “Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop” and click Finish.
