The eighth tournament of the @lantic 7's series moves to HS Jim Fouche in Bloemfontein on Friday, 12 October. The player of the tournament will be invited to attend a training camp with the national 7's team at the end of the year and will also be part of a youth team to tour Dubai at the end of November.
Last weekend's tournament in Klerksdorp was won by Hoërskool Middelburg from Mpumalanga. The young Pierre Lombaard from Waterkloof Hoërskool was named player of the tournament. Lombaard is only 16 and also represented the Blue Bulls at centre at the Grant Khomo tournament this year.
Friday's first match starts at 14:00 with the play-offs being played on Saturday from 08:00.
The participating teams this Saturday are: Jim Fouche, Bartho Youth Club, Thaba Nchu Youth Club, Petunia HS, HS Linden, HS Ficksburg, Harrismith HS, Heatherdale HS, Louis Botha HTS, Voortrekker Bethlehem, HS Bloemfontein, Paul Erasmus HS, Harmony Sport Academy and HS Sentraal.

Die agste toernooi van die @lantic 7's reeks vind Saterdag 13 Oktober plaas te HS Jim Fouche in Bloemfontein. Die speler van die toernooi sal genooi word om 'n oefenkamp saam met die nasionale 7's span by te woon aan die einde van die jaar en sal ook 'n lid wees van 'n jeugspan wat aan die einde van November na Doebai toer.
Verlede naweek se toernooi in Klerksdorp is gewen deur Hoërskool Middelburg van Mpumalanga. Die jong speler Pierre Lombaard van Hoërskool Waterkloof is as speler van die toernooi aangewys. Lombaard is net 16 en het die Blou Bulle as senter vanjaar by die Grant Khomo toernooi verteenwoordig.
Vrydag se eerste wedstryd skop om 14:00 af met die uitspeel-wedstryde wat Saterdag om 08:00 begin.
